Formed in 1998, The Black Seeds are a seven (or sometimes more) piece group from Wellington NZ. They are described as producing a uniquely Pacifican blend of soul, funk, reggae and dub sounds that set dancefloors alight and crowds a-skanking all over Aotearoa. They are one of New Zealand's as one of the country's leading live bands.
